Automatic recommendations

Automatic recommendations display related products using Shopify’s powerful recommendation algorithm. You can customize recommendations with Shopify’s Search and Discovery App.

Product recommendations are automatically generated based on products in related collections, products that are commonly purchased together, or similar product descriptions. Recommendations improve over time with more customer and product information.

Automatic products appear in bundles if there are active slots remaining after Manual and Global products have been added.

STEPS

1. Go to Flash Bundles > Preferences.

   
2. In the Recommendation types section, click to toggle on the Automatic recommendations option.

   

   Recommended products will not appear when a storefront password is enabled.

3. Click Save.

Remove products from automatic recommendations

By default, all published products may be included in automatic recommendations. You can exclude products from being used in automatic recommendations.

STEPS

1. Click Products under the Flash Bundles section in your Shopify Admin. Alternatively, click Manage bundles by product in the Bundles app dashboard.

   
2. In the Product details section, click Do not recommend this product.

   
3. Click Save.
