Global discounts

Global discounts can be applied to more than one or all product bundles. You can enable global discounts for each parent product in their individual settings. Global discounts are configured in your Preferences.

This guide assumes that you’ve already created some product bundles.

Enable global discounts

To enable the Global discount for a parent product, click Enable global discounts for this product.

STEPS

In your Shopify admin:

1. Click Products under the Flash Bundles section.

   Alternatively, click Manage bundles by product in the Bundles app dashboard.

2. Under Discounts, click Enable a manual discount for this product.

   
3. Click Save.

Set up global discount settings

Go to your Preferences to set up your Global discount settings. Discounts include a minimum price to qualify for the bundle discount, a Discount amount, and an optional Discount message.

Tip It’s important to offer discounts that are attractive to customers yet sustainable for your business. Take a look at your average order value, then add a minimum price threshold close to that average.

STEPS

In your Shopify admin:

1. Go to Flash Bundles > Preferences.

   
2. Enter the minimum total price for the discount to be applied to the bundle.

   To avoid low prices, set a reasonable minimum price. Consider setting the minimum to match your average order value.

   To offer discounts for all bundles regardless of price, set the minimum price to zero.

3. Enter the Discount amount as a percentage.

4. Enter an optional Discount message.

Exclude products from global discounts

You can prevent specific products from being discounted in other bundles. In the Products settings, click Do not discount this product.

STEPS

In your Shopify admin:

1. Go to Flash Bundles > Preferences.

   Alternatively, click Manage bundles by product in the Bundles app dashboard.

2. Click Do not discount this product.

   
3. Click Save.
